I discovered yoga during a moment of inner searching. It opened a door to something deep: learning to listen to myself, to inhabit my body, and to stay connected to what feels true. In those early years, I also practiced Zen meditation, which taught me to value silence and simplicity.
Spending time in nature has always been essential to me—it’s a way of returning to what is real and essential. That connection with the natural world continues to inspire my practice and teaching.
After initially practicing Hatha Yoga – Vinyasa, I was drawn to the Iyengar method. I studied Iyengar yoga continuously for over seven years, a path that gave me a solid foundation in alignment, precision, and the use of props.
Over the years, my interest in the body and inner experience led me to explore the connection between yoga and trauma. I trained in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), and I’m currently training in Somatic Experiencing, a therapeutic approach to working with body and trauma and regulating the nervous system.
I aim to create a space where the body can feel safe and heard, allowing each person to move at their own rhythm and in tune with their own needs.
For many years I’ve taught classes in both Argentina and Mexico, which has allowed me to work with people from different parts of the world, ages, and needs. That diversity has deeply enriched my way of teaching. I am very excited to bring this experience to the yoga practitioners of Yoga-Spirit in Zurich now.
I teach from a place of deep listening, combining alignment-based yoga sequences using props with moments of pause and exploration. The practice becomes a meaningful and beneficial experience on all levels of being. Through sound and breath, we deepen this connection, inviting a more intimate experience of the practice.
My classes are open to everyone—beginners and more experienced practitioners alike. The use of props makes the postures accessible, while also supporting the exploration of new depths for advanced students.

“I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have called Caro my yoga teacher since 2020. From the very beginning, she has crafted a deeply personal and supportive practice tailored to my individual needs—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
What sets Caro apart is her intuitive understanding of her students. She doesn’t offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, she listens, observes, and creates a space where growth feels both safe and empowering. With her guidance, I’ve overcome obstacles I once thought permanent. She’s helped me strengthen not only my body, but also my confidence and self-awareness.
Over the years, Caro has been a continuous source of inspiration. Her dedication to the practice, her compassionate presence, and her unwavering belief in her students have made a lasting impact on my life. Every class with her is not just a session—it’s a journey back to balance, strength, and self.
Caro is more than a teacher—she’s a guide, a motivator, and a true light on the mat.”
“I was recommended to go see Caro when I was in Mexico two years ago after I mentioned to a friend that I had slipped a disc ten years prior and have lived with sciatica and terrible back pain every day ever since. I never really believed in yoga but I needed to try something different because I’d tried everything else. I booked 9 sessions with her (9 hours).
To my huge surprise, it only took one session to totally heal and re-align my back which liberated me from the daily pain I had been suffering and waking up with for years. I’m so glad I did the 9 sessions because she also managed to reverse the curve in my lower back and correct my posture which I have had for as long as I could remember.
Two years on and I still haven’t had a single day of sciatica issues; I wake up with no pain, and I feel totally free. Caro changed my life with her attentive and caring style of teaching.”
