I remember my very first yoga class as if it was yesterday. It was a cold yet sunny winter day – my birthday – and I had decided that this would be the perfect day to try out something new. I can still picture myself in the cobra and the chair poses, thinking with a pinch of irony “what am I doing here?”. But I left the room that day with a feeling of freedom and a big smile on my face.

This was the beginning of a beautiful adventure and ever since, Yoga has been a central element in my life.

A regular practice has helped me in many ways. I have become more aware of my body, of my mind and of their respective needs. Thanks to yoga, I have learnt and I am still learning, to breathe, to adopt a healthy posture at work, to welcome my emotions, listen to my intuition and cultivate my creativity.

I am truly fascinated by this multifaceted character of yoga and the fact that it offers an infinite source of learning.

I am looking forward to sharing my passion with you during Hatha Yoga class, which entails Pranayamas (breathing exercises) and provides you with a safe space for your own learnings.

2012

  • First yoga class, followed by discovery of several yoga styles and constant practice in diverse studios in Switzerland

I was born and grew up in the French speaking part of Switzerland, in the Canton of Fribourg. After high-school, I left home to learn German and study Economics in St.Gallen. I obtained my Master in 2016 and I am since then working for a reinsurance company.
